$3.8 Million Dollar Jury Verdict Upheld on Appeal

In October 2013, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit upheld the $3.8 Million Dollar jury verdict obtained by Beck Law Offices (previously reduced to $3.2 Million Dollars by the District Court), for our client who had been wrongfully fired by the police department where he had worked for many years. Attorneys Larry Beck and Will Murphy worked tirelessly on handling the appeal in-office, rather than sending the work to a firm that specializes in appellate work. Larry and Will felt they needed to handle the appellate work themselves, as this case involved thousands of documents and a myriad of facts and nuances that they had come to know and understand intimately after years of working on the case.
